If you are sketchy on the basics of Triple Draw, this game is a combination of lowball and draw poker. Hands begin with each player being dealt five cards and going through a betting round; after this, there are three drawing rounds and three more betting rounds. In the drawing rounds, players can discard as many cards as they want to, and these cards will then be replaced with new ones; players can also choose to stand during a draw.

The goal of Triple Draw is to form the lowest five-card hand possible, and the best hand depends on the variation that’s being played. In A-5 Triple Draw, A-2-3-4-5 is the best hand, while 2-3-4-5-7 is the best hand in 2-7 Triple Draw. Flushes do not count in the lowest hands.

When it comes to figuring out who has the top hand, the highest low card determines who wins. For instance, if somebody has 2-4-6-8, they would beat somebody with a hand of 3-5-7-J. When two hands tie, the second highest low card is looked at; in the event that these cards tie, the third card is looked at, and so on.
